Sarah Bakes Cakes has always been a business rooted in the home.
When her three sons were small Sarah wanted to make them and their friends birthday cakes they would remember, and what started as a hobby, tinkering with simple fondant pirates and dinosaurs, quickly evolved into learning the ins and outs of working with buttercream and making sculptures from cake. As the business grew, Sarah started making sweet treats including Brownies, NY Cookies and Cupcakes for her customers which you can now buy here on the website.
For Sarah the focus has always been working with her clients to come up with a cake that is perfect for the person it’s for - whether that’s an elegant buttercream number with the most beautiful fresh flowers, or a 3D capybara in a party hat!
